Femoroacetabular impingement occurs mainly in highly active middle-aged people, as well as young athletes. It has to do with a mismatch between the articular surfaces that form the hip joint – a deformed femoral head or excess bone mass around the acetabulum. The exercises in this program aim to restore normal muscle balance and maintain the joint’s trophic condition.
