Dr. Benkin graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2001. He specialized in orthopedics and traumatology at the Military Medical Academy (MMA), Sofia. In 2007 he becomes part of the team of professor Anthony Georgiev. In the period 2012-2023 he is head of the department of Arthroscopic surgery at Hospital "Serdika". Since june 2023 he starts work at UMHATEM "N.I.Pirogov" in the department of Arthroscopic surgery at the Second Clinic of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
